René Cané Molinari
I am René Cané Molinari, a licensed Chilean-Italian psychotherapist based in Leiden. Specialized in individual and group psychotherapy, I offer services in English, Spanish, and Italian.
I hold a Master’s degree in Psychotherapy from the Catholic University of Leuven and the University of Geneva, and have further refined my skills through specialized training in Transference-Focused Psychotherapy (TFP) at Columbia University and Mentalization-Based Therapy (MBT) at the Anna Freud National Centre.
I am currently pursuing a PhD in Psychology and Neuroscience at Maastricht University, where my research focuses on the intersection of psychoanalysis and sexuality.
Alongside my independent practice, I work as a freelancer for iMindU, where I facilitate group therapy sessions. My therapeutic approach is holistic and culturally sensitive, reflecting both my multicultural background and my fluency in multiple languages.
Driven by my belief in the transformative power of group therapy, I have witnessed how it enables individuals to change their lives and achieve their therapeutic goals over time.
Approaches:
Client-Centered Psychotherapy (CCP), Existential Therapy (ET), Transference-Focused Psychotherapy (TFP), Schema-Focused Therapy (SFT), Mentalization-Based Therapy (MBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Group Therapy.
