About iMindU
iMindU GGZ: personal and restorative care
iMindU GGZ is a small-scale mental health care organization (GGZ) for children, adolescents, adults, and families. We provide care at two locations in Leiden — one in the city center and one near the train station.
Our care is efficient, compassionate, and built around our innovative “I see you” (iCU) care program. This program delivers personalized and often highly complex care. Not just in what we do and how we treat, but also in how we organize and evaluate the care we provide.
We look at you as a whole person, from a broad perspective, and involve all relevant disciplines and organizations needed for your recovery. This means that we don’t only consider medical or psychiatric factors, but also social and personal dimensions. Together with you, we translate your request for help into a targeted diagnostic and treatment plan, tailored to your situation, family, and environment.
A strong therapeutic relationship is central to our approach. Together, we explore how to remove emotional and psychological barriers and how you can continue your life story in a new way. This may involve mental health symptoms, but also difficulties in relationships or functioning. We focus on helping you grow stronger and on how our knowledge, experience, and resources can best support you.
Our patients come from diverse ages and backgrounds, generally ranging from 3 to 70 years old. Our team speaks Dutch and English, and often other languages as well. When necessary, we work with a telephone interpreter.
We aim for a smooth and timely transition from registration to intake, diagnostics, and treatment, with the shortest possible waiting time for the intake process.
iMindU GGZ is committed to providing welcoming, compassionate, high-quality, efficient, and effective specialized mental health care, tailored to both local and internationally oriented children, adolescents, (young) adults, and their families. We particularly serve victims of violence, asylum seekers, expats, and second- and third-generation World War II survivors, as well as anyone seeking or needing psychotherapy.
